Who can check attendance

In Ensembly, attendance can be checked by administrators, conductors, and users who have been granted permission to check attendance lists.

An administrator can enable this permission from the member details page.

Where to check attendance

Attendance is checked from the event view in the attendance list section. The feature is available for events dated today or in the past.

Attendance checking view

The lower part of the page shows member declarations (see the guide about declaring attendance at events):

  • On the left - people who declared presence
  • On the right - people who declared absence

For each user, choose the actual status, such as present, late, very late, absent, or unjustified absence. After selecting a status, the user moves to the checked section at the top of the page.

Advanced attendance settings

Default attendance statuses can be edited in the ensemble attendance settings. You can define which statuses count as presence or absence and assign points to presence statuses.

Points are counted and visible in statistics in the events section.

Summary

Attendance checking gives the conductor a clear record of who actually took part in an event and supports later attendance statistics.
